Well, we E-P1 users are not the only ones. Saw some Apple Mac users complaining on why they had to spend so much, and still need to buy and stick some anti-glare film for bright light use ...

I just did! Will arrive just about the time I get back to UK late september. And it's a bargain! Although, only people in the UK could call it a bargain.... (I have no choice)

But actually, I am getting the E-P1 (probably in Malaysia) and only want to get the 20mm pancake lens (they currently don't have lens only option) and will hopefully able to sell the GF1 body (without ever touching it) on eBay.. Do you think many would want its body only?

Hard to say. I guess for those of us with already a number of m43 lens. But I myself would prefer getting with the 20mm too.

Ooh, out of the blue I got this thought:think:and plan of getting:bigeyes:GF1-body with a Tele-zoom instead so as to achieve Happiness with 24mmf/2.0-300mm thereabout bigeyes:most importantly still way/much lighter than DSLR) when travelling and still able to act as another backup camera when 'combo' with my LX3(which means LX3=already got body+lens at 24mmf/2.0 and 150mm=300mm on GF1:thumbsup

I think it is possible. After playing with EP-1 for one night, I feel that there is some space to fit in a flash somewhere on the left side, just need to shift the mode dial away.

EP-1 already can shoot HD video although it is only .avi

I saw the price of the GF-1 on an Australian review website. If its accurate, the price was... AUD$1.6k!

Think it will be slightly cheaper in Singapore? I remembered paying ard there for my D70 a few years back : x

Couldnt agree more. The flash is no need....since I already bought FL-36R and waiting for e-p2 now
Just put one hell of a lcd&viewfinder on and ill be more than happy. And focus as well
