Reduced post count

Hi mods,

I remembered I hit 5000 posts a week or so ago, but after the outage last week, my post number seemed to have reduced to 4000+. This is not a major issue for me, but thought it may be due to more teething issues backend?

the reason is because kopitiam posts are not counted again.

for a while they counted, now they don't again.

Hm...seems like policies change from time to time. Anyway, it's not a big deal. Just wanted to know more why there's a decrease in number and whether there's a security concern. There's been some hacking activities going on here recently I believe.

I think the answer is partly yes. You'll need to hit a certain number of posts before you will be classified under senior member. The other criteria is how long you have been with CS. Mod, please correct me if I'm wrong.

That is correct. To be assigned a Senior Member status, a member needs to be registered for more than 3 years AND have amassed more than 2000 posts (outside of Kopitiam of course).

Senior Members have additional PM space and Gallery allocations.
