Recommend of P&S D-Camera?

Hi

I've got a lady friend looking to buy a P&S digital camera. Any recommend of a good nice P&S d-camera for the following purpose?

- For impromptu shoots.
- portability for carry in handbag.
- shooting potraits, landscape, paranoma ...etc. (Travel oversea alot)
- ease of operations.
- price range S$400 - S$700.
- reasonably good batt operation.
- Good and rich picture turn outs (resolutions, color & sharpness)

I would recommend Sony T3 (good size & build, no jutting out lens) or the Panasonic FX-7 (anti-stabilisation).

go evaluate the panasonic DMC-FX7

the image stabiliser can come in useful. also, the lcd is huge.
