Anybody D40 owner here can recommend a good compact bag for D40 kit with 18-55mm lens?
Need as compact as possible & might be using a external flash.
Thanks.

I use a Kata DC-441 for my D90 and it's quite spacious and light. Since your D40 is smaller, you can go for the smaller DC-433 instead. I find Kata bags to be more stylish and cheaper. :)

I use 3 million for my D40, fit just nice.

The Bagman CA05 for somewhat rugged use. http://lifeis.socube.com/?p=376
$55 in some places.

If going to bring to war then you need something made of ballistic nylon or around 900D nylon quality for great weather resistance including snow and rain.

Vanguard is also a good camera bag maker. Not as nice compared to Lowepro designs but as tough as Domke imo yet average price.
