Who quoted you that? Local set with warranty ? Nowadays always comes with 1650 kit. Body only are hard to find.

I got that quote from parisilk this morning. spurrsy's post here suggests that they still have stock so I inquired earlier. But is it a good price? I was expecting to get it at 1500sgd.

Hmm... you can try to bargain, but the best deal so far i receive is $1609 for the body 1 month ago from a local dealer from eBay selling local sets with warranty but out of stock.
How much they selling with 1650kit?

MScolor is selling at $1650 (gst inclusive) - body only with free 16 gb mem card. Prices shld not vary too far off from shop to shop and whether its quoted with gst or not, bearing in mind RRP is $1799. Don't think can get a brand new set at $1500 at this moment. 2 weeks ago, I was quoted $1806 at Sim Lim, but of course I just walked away.

Hi so sorry for my late reply. I just got my new A77 with kit lens. I got it for sgd2396 with free sony bag and 16gb sony card. The CSO is very accomodating, best service i experieced buying from an electronic shop. Originally they are only giving me 8gb card but the nice CSO guy upgraded it to 16gb. That made me a very satisfied customer

Hi do u know the name of the CSO at Parisilk Holland who sold u the d77kit? I only know Kelvin the nice Indian guy there, but cant get him. Ur price is good dah, the best I found was from Manly at 2409 with gst and comes with bag and high speed MS stick. Thanks

Yeah I think his name is Kelvin as I remember. He's the nice Indian guy who help me purchase the A77 kit. But the one who gave me the quote 1st was Madeline via phone. I paid by cash, maybe that's why I got that bargain

Yep, that's the best quote I got. I called Alan Photo 1st and they quote me 2480, I ask for a bargain but they said they cannot lower the price. Then I called MS Color and they said no stock.

Hi I paid by cash 'cause when I asked Madeline that I will pay by NETS, she said that they will add 3% more on the price 0.o

Max Photo at Chinatown has one going for $2300 after GST. Comes with memory card and bag. There's a catch though. It's a display set, but it's locked in a shelf. Not those that you can just touch and operate. 15 months warranty, I've been told.
