Second hand A900/850 is selling quite cheap. Its great for landscape and studio use.

The alternative is to wait till September for the rumored release of the A99.

i guess so too. the dealer won't be so stupid as to sell at that price. that price quoted (if it really was for the kit and lens) would most likely be even lower than cost price

After first gracing this forums with my 7d, I am finally the owner of a brand new a77, with the 16-50. Got it from parisilk at 2430 today, I believe they still have stocks.

Now... What do I do with my 7d and the lens?

Hmm you can keep the 7d for a while , and use the A77 with Kit lens intensively for 2 weeks. If you think the A77 is a keeper over the 7d, you can sell the 7D at BnS ,and fund it for a CZ lens . If not, the reverse can happen, and I think you should find avail buyers for the A77 at a reasonable price . Cheers

7D has been with me for 7 years... frankly, it is still excellent. But it's time to embrace technology... higher res, twilight mode, sweep pano, evf, the list goes on. Most importantly, a77 shoots video!

Plus, I like the range of the 16-50, and the f2.8. Finally something to replace my 17-35+28-75 combi... that extra 500 grams kills me sometimes after a whole day.
