ahaha, nah.
i don't think that look will work well on backpacks. besides, i'm not really a backpack fan, it is much harder to change lenses with a backpack.
of course, backpacks have their use, when carrying more gear or trekking (like we did the other day), then less chance to snag on branches, etc... but when travelling overseas, don't usually do so untrodden paths, or have car, so i always use my billingham.
i told van i very pei fu all of you... i don't think i will ever buy such heavy lenses.. :sweat:
Went to look at sirui tripod yesterday also, saw a 4 section cf travel tripod, 300+, but when setup not very tall... Oh well it's small and light so can't complaint... U buying which 1?
