maybe they think easiest way to get shot to fame in CS is to challenge NM...:bsmilie: coz get more exposure :bsmilie:

Just brush them aside.. Ppl like Soulfly, Emlee, Tuarean will give constructive feedbacks..
I yearn for more constructive critiques on my work too... Bt don't get many :)

Btw ur inbox shd be flooded with love letters everyday :bsmilie:

yar, it is good when they explain in slightly greater detail. i'm not a net nazi, i don't need people to give me an essay on why they think something is good, or why something is bad.

there is no value added when you tell someone "your work is bad". this is only called for when the person is obviously oblivious to it (e.g. the people in P&P that post 40 photos that are focused on chest area). otherwise, if people seemed to have put some thought into their work, you should reciprocate in some way by putting some thought into your critique.

otherwise it's almost insulting, like you can't be bothered.

if you can't be bothered, then i can't be bothered with you also... :bsmilie:

i just need my gf to tell me my leica very beautiful and the picture taken with it very nice :bsmilie:

yar, especially in P&P. :bsmilie:

i usually put in more effort when the work is very good, but just lacks something.

when it is very bad, sometimes i just comment very briefly to highlight that it is not something desirable. don't see how constructive feedback would work in such a case, since the comments will be the same, touching on the basics.

one of the P&P guru always oversharpen his photos, always shoot too close for whatever lens he is using, resulting in bloated face model... :bsmilie:

:dunno: if you comment with smiley face or animated gif, you only look like a fool or a troll.

either way is shoot to fame... in the wrong way.. :bsmilie:

Yar lor.. agreed to a certain extent, we dont require indepth explanation why this is bad, but since if whoever labelled them as bad or unplesant to their "high" standards, they ought to at least fill us in more specifically which areas that can be improved.. tsk tsk..

the difference is cutoff in light at what wavelength...

B+W 092 cuts off light at 650nm thereabouts, i think. i would consider it more of a red filter.

B+W 093 will be closer to hoya r72, which cuts off light at 720nm.. :)

092 usually produces bluish foliage, whereas hoya r72 will give whitish foliage. the higher the number for cutoff, the more ir characteristic (and the less color) you will get.

hope this helps.
