Ya, this is from Chlorocyphidae family, which have stout abdomens which is shorter than their wings. One of my friend said the head look like Mickey Mouse. :bsmilie:

Only 4 Species in Singapore including one that is nationally extinct, this is my 2nd species that i shot. So 2 more to go......the extinct one need to go Malaysia and shoot.

Wah... Very very rare indeed.. Great find Leong.. Hope u can complete ur collection soon.. We on the other hand hv to work bit harder :sweat:

Today very win, i suppose to handover my completed project, that i recieved a email from the owner saying the design is wrong.....and they are the one who approved the design 2years ago.

If wrong, tell me earlier. Approved already, i spend 1.5years finish building then now refuse to accept the end product. :angry::angry:

leong, sirui tripods are stripped easily? i saw NNB's gitzo? seems quite easy to clean. i don't really know how to clean my giottos of sand... i took out all the nuts and bolts and it won't come apart. :bsmilie:

anyways, just looking around, don't think my current set up will kaput anytime soon... and i will use it until it kaput... if it is lighter i could pass it to van to replace her bamboo pole fancier... but i think she will vomit blood carrying mine around. :bsmilie:

Yes, the design is same with gitzo, all the leg sections can be strip apart to wash.

Looking at the way you shoot, it will give way in a few month time.

I will clean and lightly grease my tripod joint after it went into sea or swampy area, if not it will confirm give way no matter what brand, my gitzo is almost 3 years now and still going strong.

Sea water is the worst, one of my friend who love to take seascape and don't maintain it, changes his gitzo every other year.....:sweat:

Yes.. Sirui really give Gitzo a run for their money..

If not for explorer, i will jump into Sirui aso.. Equally gd but 1/3 of the price.. :bsmilie:
