There are three choices open to you (and any other member that did not put their name down earlier):-
1. Pay for your own dinner
2. Turn up and hope that previously confirmed members don't show.
3. Just join in the gathering and birthday cake, but no makan

At this point in time, I am receiving lots of PMs from members who are still interested in attending the Buffet but who did not update their name in the lists.

To accommodate all, we urge all those REGISTERED and CONFIRMED members to be there by 8:00pm, otherwise, your place will be given away.

No change in the start time. Thats just the deadline before forfeited makan places are given away to pple who turned up but not on the confirmed list.

Longman,
There is no change in the original timing.

Members can start coming in by approx. 6:00-6:30pm and can start makan by about 7:00pm or so.

The 8:00pm cutoff time is to make sure that members who registered and confirmed turn up BEFORE that time, otherwise, their place will be given away to any member that turns up but did not register earlier.
