Re: CNA Poll - 89% Not Interested in YOG

Not looking for a politically correct answer, but it seems wrong on how they are packaging the whole event to the country's citizens. It's like being force-fed and a demand of the rights to be supported. It's rather a turn-off, imo.

Maybe this YOG will be more successful in China, their next destination. :bsmilie:

All the best to the event. Support Singapore!

er... mind if i ask if u r singaporean? cause we r "educated" / "encourage" to support many campaing since early years, it is known by many, even t-shirt (those aimed to sell to tourist) printed "singapore is a "fine" country".

This attention seeking bit@h is a disgrace to Singapore.:thumbsd:

if a event is not well received by yhe commoners, dont think it will be a 'look forward event' to most. when ppl learnt abt the committe was awarded to hold the event, hardly see ppl cheering whistling along the street. like those scence where ppl anticipated and cheer for world cup olympic F1 etc. most local are struggling to live working everyday from dawn till dusk. sparring little time for family n themselves. not to mention that half the nation filled with FT whose main objective is to reap money from this small nation. who cares?

i will still hope our local sportsman will bring glory

Bro, believe me, they do not have enough manpower to rotate ....
knowing how the system works (been in it for some time), i shan't comment any further in case ISD comes after me :bsmilie:

The cheering song sucks big time. And yeah, I'm too busy to watch it. Maybe they should institutionalize gambling at the YOG so that people will be more interested. And maybe they should fine us for not watching the games... hahahaha!!!

will the YOG vehicles give way to a speeding ambulance coming from the back? or will the ambulance have to LL give way? :dunno:

They say "same priority" as emergency vehicle right..? 1st come 1st serve lor.. :bsmilie:

What's wrong with the clip.. nice mah..

Tough question indeed. Let me try...

Since failing to give way to both vehicles is an offence, hence making them the same, the vehicle that gives way gets a shot at lodging a complaint about the other, and billing the fella for civic graciousness.

Like they always say, don't let your left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing but the two pockets belonged to the same pants. :sweatsm::sticktong

bus can only travel on lane with "YOG GIVE WAY" markers, while ambulance can travel at the right most lane...

what if there are only 2 lanes? i'm not sure if there are any such scenario... but most of the time... it's 3 lanes.

ha ha ha :bsmilie:
Why do you think the opening for YOG is next to the Marina Sands Casino ??? :bsmilie:
They want more customers to visit the casino. That is their real motive.

Unfortunately, they spoiled my fireworks photo during the YOG rehearsal last Saturday
They switch on the big spot light
