RC1000 control schematic

Yello all...

Anybody can help me to find this technical data regarding RC1000...
I have been thinking to make something out of it.

i am thinking of making a wireless remote control of it.
but first I need to know how this RC1000 controls the Dynaxx.

I have a KM Maxxum D5. Love it. I am not the kind to make an electronic device. But i am wondering if any of you have found another remote cord that will work with my camera. It is getting hard to find the RC1000.

guys, read the thread on the 5D VG mod, we have detailed instructions and pictures there. i'm currently working on embedding a RF wireless remote in the VG so that i can trigger focus and shutter release with that (not IR because of need for direct line of sight). I'll share what i have once i can get it to work, since i'm on quite long medical leave now.

There is a shop at Sim Lim Tower basement selling DIY wireless remote switch, with remote controller nicely built, dunno whether can it be implemented to use on the 5D.

i've got a couple of them, still looking for details on internet to extend the range with coiled antennaes, without it its only a couple of metres but we don't want unsightly wires sticking out either right? that's the hurdle at the moment... i got mine at slt, heard about this shop at sls might check it out this week if time permits to see if they have a better solution that we can easily integrate into the modded vg.

you mean you got a rc-1000L? i saw once there is a person who DIY the RC-1000L to a shorter one using those pin adapter, like the one you find in speaker cables. he made it interchangeable so if he needs a longer one, he just connect the extension wire and got a 5m long remote. when you dun need it, it is a 0.5m short remote. i forgot where i seen the thread.
