My order is correct. Kindly confirm exch rate for us to apply conversion. Perhaps besides us sending info to Raytoei on our real name etc, we also state the US$ amt, followed by the SGD$ amt. The buyers just have to ensure that we transfer the SGD$ amt. So that Raytoei will be clear on the US$ as per purchase and the SGD$ he shd receive in his bank. ust for clarity.

hi,

1. Okay. keep it simple, use 1.24.

2. aquilaa, thanks. updated

3. Gerard Goh: good idea, so format could be:

Clubsnap name, Realname, USD AMT, SGD AMT, TX code (if any)

thanks

Oceanpriest, Scandiacus:

the #4201101 is out of stock.

I will replace with #4201102 @ 19.99 each.

Hi Raytoei,

For TX (Transaction Code), it is suggested that buyers indicate the "CODE" and the "DATE OF TRANSACTION"
"EFT" denoting Electronic Funds Transfer - this is the most convenient mode of payment to yr POSB a/c via ATM.
"CDP" denoting Cash Deposit - Buyers go to POSB and hand over cash to teller to be deposited into yr POSB a/c.
"CSH" denoting Cash - Buyers hand you personally their payment in cash.
DATE - in dd/mm/yy format

E.g. for a buyer who does a funds transfer to yr POSB a/c will send you an sms that read like this:-

Clubsnap name, Realname, USD AMT, SGD AMT, EFT, 120911.

For persons handing you in cash in a face-to-face meet up, it is also good for the buyer to send you the sms as a form of record.

At the end of the day, you go to yr POSB ATM and update yr bank book. Just tally the amounts you received as printed in yr bank book against the sms messages you received. Tick against the nams of buyers whom you have received payment from the records in yr bank book and sms. I think this may help you to avoid any disputes of who, when, how much as paid to you. Hope this helps.

Just a question, what does "short date special" mean? Thanks.

Mine is correct!
Thanks

i.e fomapan 100
past date special: aug 2011
short date special: nov 2011

I wish they stated upfront the dates on these things. The Legacy Pro is a short date special.

for fomapan 100 feet, they stated upfront

anyway dun worry bro, expired b&w film will still be ok. expired color film usually has color cast.

it will be fine as long it's kept cool. saw people develop decades-old b&w film succesfully. this short date is expired few months only. ;)

Gerard Goh,

too troublesome. i think EFT or cdp is the only way else too many balls in the air to juggle.

okay here is a status update.

please download the xls file, look at the tabs.

i have computed at usd -> sgd base on 1.24 exchange rate.

in the 2nd tab, shows what unique product and qty to order.

last tab is most interesting,
i am likely to order base on 6 ship-sets,
all under sgd 400.

i will either choose to ship to SG directly from Freestyle or ship to VPOST then SG.

http://retro2.ms11.net/masssales-beforepay.xls

I am too lazy to sms you guys (just came back from nepal, again).

TODO:

pls open the xls file:

a. verify correct order, correct amount, correct conversion to sgd
b. pls send money to POSB 051-36888-6 savings.

mention
c. Pls post in this thread when you have transferred the money.

My plan:

I intend to start ordering tomorrow, one ship-set a day until we reach 6 ship sets.

Let me see how to optimize the freight charges... most interesting problem.

Decision time. rather than vpost and shipset.

i calculated everything in one order:

cost $1754.63
shipment to singapore, $297.43
gst at 7%, 122.8241
twenty of us, works out to $20usd or around $25.

pros: simple.
pros: we get it this weekend (!!!)
cons: probably a little more expensive. maybe not.

any idea ? i will pull the trigger tomorrow.
