Hi may I know if DCR-250 is suitable for Sony Nex-5N kit lens 18-55mm? Any step-up/down ring required? The lens thread of 18-55mm is 49mm but the the DCR-250 adapter is 43mm. Thanks.

Hi dreamjoe,

Yes, DCR-250 can be used with the Sony kit lens together with a 49mm adapter ring which is available from us.

I want to purchase a DCR-250 close-up lens.
But I live in the West (NTU), quite far from Bedok. Do you have any stall for selling this in the Centre or in the West?
PS: I use 100mm f2.8 Macro USM Lens (Canon), do I need an adapter?

DCR-250 can be attached directly to your 100mm macro lens. No need to get extra adapter.

do u think it is suitable to apply Raynox DCR-250 on these 2 lens?
will it cause vignetting?

Only the Tamron lens will cause serious vignetting. 100mm macro no problem. :)

A macro lens allows you to shoot at about 1 feet or 30cm from object while a macro converter lens is meant to be attached to the front of a normal lens to increase the focal length. However the focusing distance will be shorter, to around 12cm for the DCR-250. For details, please see product page below:

Would like to know if there will be any vignette if used on Nikon 18-105mm kit lens?
 

Erm..in addition I'm also using a Sigma 50mm F1.4 (77mm).. I have a 67-77 step up ring..can it be used in this case?
