Hi infusia,

Please note the focusing distance of DCR-250 is around 12cm.

A popular way is to set the camera to manual mode, half-press the shutter button and slowly move the camera back and forth around the focusing distance to get the sharpest image. Press fully when desired focus is achieved.

Call us if you still face any problem.

Cheers!

Hi Jim,

You mentioned in your ad that there's this optional but useful snap-on cover for your DCR-250, can I know how is the cover use for?

Hi hermes76,

The snap-on cover is very useful in the following ways:
1) Prevent constant removal of the lens from the universal adapter, thus reducing accident of lens dropping out from your hand. If you wish to use the storage cap supplied, you would have to keep removing the lens from the adapter.
2) Can be attached effortlessly to protect the front of lens while shooting in the fields without the need to remove the setup from your camera, while you are not shooting or having a break.
3) Very cheap, only $8. 49mm high quality cover made in South Korea. Difficult to find in shops too, that's why we provide it to benefit customers.

Cheers.

Dear Jim,

juz gotton the DCR-250 from you, can't wait to go into action....

I noticed a string on the snap-on cover, how is it to be tied to my main lens?

Hi

Can 250 fit on canon 100mm F2.8L IS?

Hi EvilMrK,

Yes, DCR-250 can be mounted directly to the Canon 100mm lens. However some users prefer to use DCR-150 instead as the DCR-250 might produce too high a magnification when combined with a 100mm lens.

You can try both at our place before deciding. Cheers! :)
