This is the bit that really gets me, it's only ~1.5yr ++

The warranty, cannot remember if got registered it or not...can't find the warranty card either...must have thrown it by mistake during the last spring cleaning at home.


If the old one still working, I see how lor...thou hard to trust it anymore..may do an advance hdd utility format

only for internal hdd's or also for external? coz i recently just got a WD MyBook 3.0 external as backup for my data (pics, movies, software, etc)
