Hi Zul, another good shot.. and nice red color bridge.
Where is this? Can share? Thanks:)

Err Manita this is in China...................:sweatsm::sweatsm:
Just kidding there..this is somewhere in Punggol undeveloped area along the river.
It's not easily accessible for now. You either cycle or take a short hike in order to get here :)

Oh.. I thought so..:bsmilie::bsmilie:
Since it is not so accessible, I dont think my Dad will allow me to go. Thanks

The colour of the sky and the buildings seems to merge unnaturally...

hehe yeah..the highest floor ;)
It does?.. I did luminosity mask (which I just learnt :embrass:) to my editing. I'll relook at this..thanks for the feedback bro..

my feelings about revealing that last location are always that this is a sensitive location due to it being:

a) a private residence, if i'm not wrong
b) and well, residential area

so i have never really given out the location openly, because of the huge amount of outings (officially and unofficially announced) going on. i have nightmares about a group of 20 people filling up the top floors of the area, and next thing you know, the building management gets loads of complaints about rowdy photographers infringing the residents' way of life, and then the security guards will have to use the stick... and the location is closed off permenantly. think i'm kidding? it has happened before.

i would prefer a panoramic view to avoid the seemingly slanted view here (horizontal perspective distortion). i know that shooting straight on gives a very boring composition (snapshottish), so the best alternative is panoramic, i guess. cheers.

Hi night86mare,
I realised what you are getting at. I could imagine the scenario you have brought to attention. I guess I'm naive to think all of us are responsible enough to behave in proper manner in such a surrounding and are fully aware that such locations are not meant for large outings. I thought there would be general understanding and common ethics that such places are not meant for outings and huge 'gatherings'. Adding to that I don't want to come across as someone who is 'stingy' who doesn't want to share a good photgraphic location.
I'll bear this in mind and be more careful in revealing such locations in future, rest assured.

I was 'practicing' my panoramic shots in fact and it was my first time doing so.But all my pano shots failed. I havent grasp or understand panoramic shots and stitching.I need to practice more before I can get a decent panoramic picture.
Yes I agree fully..the view was breathtaking and the only way to capture it is by taking panoramic shots. Adding to that my distortion/tilt control is still very bad most of the times.These are some of the areas (there are many more!) which I'm working to improve on.

Thanks for your reminder and comments night86mare. I really appreciate it.

bro r00ki3... let's edit the posts to remove location details for #147... :)

Ai ya.. Zul... you must call me next time you see me. Because I cannot recognize you.. So wasted. Actually I was there with my Dad since 4.30pm to shoot. Very hot !!! Later you can see in my thread but quite nice clouds and quite different to shoot in the afternoon at the seaside. When we walk pass you, we were going to the other side, Changi Boardwalk. Very very tired after I reach home.
Ai ya, I so blurr.:bsmilie::bsmilie::bsmilie:
