oh.. i unscrew from the free DIGI box that come with the purchase of the 60L DIGICABI.Since i have no use for the box, and the hydrometer can be easily removed. I paste it beside the digital. kekeke

can advice how did u paste the analog hygrometer?? thanks

Merry christmas.. bro.. really bad luck that day... after that i called digihub to order one (AD50L) and begged them to deliver on monday (they told me wednesday then free).. My room RH is 80-90++%:sweat: now it is 45 to 55%.. i have to keep the knob at 1 to 2pm to keep HR at ard this zone .Btw what u all use to stick extra hygrometer onto the glasS door? And how to adjuct the height of the trays??

eh... i don't have sweaty palms or fingers... :bsmilie: and no, some of these lenses were cleaned before. also the whitish residue was not from dried sweat, it was even around the grip, and looked like the rubber was starting to dry up and crack. irreversible, so not sweat leh... only sweat is how much it'll cost to replace the grips when these things crack and fall off..*sigh*

I used rubber cleaner/protectant used in car grooming. work great. rejuvenate old rubber its shine and flexibility.

Btw, does any knows where the Service center or tel for digicabi? I got their dry cabinet for around 4.5 years already. For the past few days I see that the LED inside keeps flickering and the Hygrometer reads 80%. It was around 45% in the past. I think the unit is spoilt. Since it is 5 yrs warranty, I better get it replaced soon. Pls do post the address and telephone if anyone knows. Thanks!

The tray can be remove by fully sliding it outwards and lifting it 45 deg upwards ,then after abit of hard work jiggering and kana the sweet spot , it will come out :sweat:. The rail by the side is easy to remove. Get a few battery operated lights and stick it inside the cabinet so that you can have light inside when you need to take things out from the dark cabinet. I use the Philip motion sensor one so once my hand goes inside, the light turn on by the sensor and last for 15 sec after sensing the last motion, $19... a little expensive though, there are those cheaper type at your local hardwear store or DIY shop. OSRAM also have it at $9-$10, you press the light which acts like like a switch to turn it on. As for the extra RH% meter I just leave it inside as I use the main meter mostly and only the extra meter for checking once awhile.

Just got a AD-60L, was wondering if the LED on the knob gets lighted up once powered up, or have to wait for it to stabilize or any other conditions? Right now it's off, wonder if it's defective :cry:

It will be off unless you turn it to almost max then it will come on. It puzzle me too as it serve no purpose. With the Led light off it is still working so no worries

i got my cabi AD70 about 2 days ago.. i turned my knob to 11 o'clock position and so far, the lowest RH% i got was 53. i turned it lower towards 10 o'clock position but it still doesn't decrease and roam around 53 ~ 55..

any idea?

shouldn't it be clockwise = less RH% :think: please double check with the marking on the dial as I have change mine to DHC liao. After minor adjustment do allow for 3-4 hours for it to settle

woops.. i just tuned it to 1 o'clock position and letting it settle. let's see if the RH% drops..

oh btw when it came, the delivery uncle tuned it to max at 5 o'clock and my RH% actually roamed around 70+. so i thought it's anti-clock wise that will decrease the RH%..

just checked, it says LO in red at 5 o'clock and HI in green at 7 o'clock.

By right the led light is on only when it is working to decrease the humidity in the cabinet. Once the humidity level has been reached, the led light will off.

my RH is at 51 now.. should be decreasing further.. will check again tmr!

ah! btw, does AD60 have the red and green LED as shown in the top right of the pic below? my AD70 doesn't.... it has only 1 knob with a green LED on it. :dunno:

Just got the DHC80L. Any advice on how to start? Do I need to leave the cabinet door open for 24 hours before putting my equipment in etc?
