This sounds weird.. But I admire you guys who can put on so easily... Serious, i'm not making fun or watever!

For me, I can eat all the fried and unhealthy stuffs.. But my weight will be pretty consistent. But of cos, I'd feel lousy.. So I do eat healthily where possible but gaining isn't easy for me. Even if I do, after I exercise a little, I will slim down fast.

Anyway, I'm neither under or over weight. Just wish to be bigger.. more muscular actually! :bsmilie:

I suppose genetics play a pretty big role too.

This guy has stiff opposition from many quarters, Big Health companies and food industries that produces Cereals and many others. He was even summoned to US Congress to explain this diet of his.

I am taking this slowly, trying it out for 3 weeks first.

sushi is mainly rice.. carbo intake leh, ah nia :sweat:
unless you go for sashimi platter... OoooOooH i LOVE raw stuffs :heart:
dont diet too much, okie ;)

U guy right? eat Bake POTATOES alot!.. my friend who go to Gym.. the instructor ask him to eat Bake potatoe everyday leh
 

Woke up around 7am......busy busy till 3pm. Came home fall asleep.....now only woke up.

6.30pm liao....should I ? or shouldn't I exercise ley......

dont take more than 2 eggs per week.. esp the egg yolk, high in cholesterol. thats why some people looked slim, but have high BP level.

still go for sushi lah, just take lesser and eat more fruits :)

Just be moderate in the food intake.... dun need to focus on one things too much as u may give up soon. (Most dieters fail as they give up after achieving their goals as they are not prepare to change their lifestyles )

Bake potatoe is good, but i disagree one should focus on that "alot".

To slim down, the best is to diversify your food intake (means *more vege varieties*) , avoid fried food, drink plenty of water (i drink alot even before sleeping, nope - i do not believe much in water retention), and exercise everyday. (Skipping is the fastest to reduce, next jogging). In much so , i cut 25% of overall weight and maintain till it is now.

Afterall, health is more impt than weight in long runs. Even if i gain weight , it is due to muscle (from daily excercise routines)

my fren gym trainer and she told me that, there're stages to losing weight. when you first diet, it'll be really effective but after sometime, it wont be that effective anymore as your body is 'trained' and gotten used to the miserable amount of food intake. hence if you eat a little more again, then your figure :gbounce: back. question is, is the person really determined and willing to eat like a hammie forever :rolleyes:

same theory applies to taking slimming pills/ exercising. if you really want to slim down in an extreme way within a short period of time, go for liposunction.

agree with kitkat, just eat moderately. being happy is more impt ;)

I took egg white only leh.. throw away the egg yolk :P..

Actually the success to weight lost perm is mental change in attitude how u want it to be. I have try several slimming programs and it is only short terms. It was then I realize that a change in lifestyle is a perm solution.

It takes me a mental preparation of >40 days to get use to the new routines (Exsercise everyday , eat oat meal etc , drink alot of water and love my body more) After 120 days of fixation in this lifestyle, i will find it very weird if i skip one of those "dieting" (i call them healthy living instead) item as they have become a part of me. However health is more impt. Generally , if ya moderate in food and diversify the vege varieties, go to gym (or other exercise) regularly and be happy, u will burn more carbos and feel better !

maybe i should stop jogging. wait for 1 mth then start again .. will drop weight then :P but hor.. very difficult to start again once stop -.,-

It has taken for a worst for me... i have started to love egg yolk :bsmilie:

now waiting for my RT to kick start my engine. :(
 

refer to my last post and with DETERMINATION .. u all sure can lose weight one.
My gym buddy lost 20kgs while I gain 6kgs ..

But .. AM really sick of eating (6-8meals a day) and train 4times a week
I gave up .. and lost 6kg .. Really regret ~

bodybuilding is just expensive as photography .. :bsmilie:

* As wat furrycake had mention .. the very first stage of losing/gaining weight is known as the initial lost / initial gain ..

and once your body get used (reach plateau) u need to put in extra effort to lose/gain weight ..
Various style of exercise can be use though. . Like HIT , pyramid and etc . .

Is okie when u eat and exercise

I used to consume .. 2 whole eggs and 8 eggs white daily ..
And I bought them in trays .. normal cheap eggs .. not seng choon low cheosterol type
