example:
currently using 600d
50mm f1.8
18-135 mm
10-22 mm
upgrade to 5d mark ii
will these lens fit ?
because 600d is cropped sensor and 5d is full frame not sure can work or not.
Full frame body can only use full frame lenses.example:

Not really sure if there is 1?.. but i guess you are looking for a UWA for FF..
the famous 1 could be 16-35 for Canon.
You're referring to the 10-22 EF-S lens right? FYI.. since its a crop lens..and Canon crop body as a 1.5 crop. That makes your 10-22 = 15-33 actually.
On the side note.
If there is 10mm for FF.. WOW. cant imagine.. Nikon has a 14-24 though. no 10mm yet..at least i haven't heard of 1.

Actually i also dontknow how to explain to you professionally. But yes..because the 600D is not a FULL FRAME camera.. and since the sensor have a 1.6X crop. So yea what you see have to X1.6.. Which is why.. a UWA for crop body are usually 10-<35mm. Whereas UWA for FULL FRAME are usually 16-35. (numbers is always bigger..because they dont have to Multiply the crop). Another simple example..standard zoom for crop could be the kit lens 18-55. But standard zoom for Full Frame could be the 24-70. Hmm you get the idea? Sorry if i confuse you.wao....ur explanation make me feel i dun know alot of things haha
i didnt know that 10-22 is 15-33 on my camera...
so meaning lens on my camera must x1.5? becos its crop sensor ?
Canon APS-C is 1.6x crop.
10-22 = 16-35 in 35mm terms.

Hi
The crop factor for Canon's cropped sensor is actually 1.6x
That means with any lens mounted, the focal length is effectively 1.6 times. E.g for your 10-22mm lens it's effect is that of a 16-35mm.
What are your reasons for wanting to upgrade to the FF 5DMII?
yea i noticed that but i dun know the reason and i has been wondering
why some lens are EF and some EF-s
why 5D mark ii kit lens is 24-77 L and have the red band on the lens
yea i noticed that but i dun know the reason and i has been wondering
why some lens are EF and some EF-s
why 5D mark ii kit lens is 24-77 L and have the red band on the lens
one of the reason is the weather sealing.
i dun think my 600d can function well in snowing country
5D MkII kit lens is not 24-70. It is a 24-105. The red band means its a L lens. L simply refer to the luxury lenses of Canon.yea i noticed that but i dun know the reason and i has been wondering
