Can any1 tell me how do i stamp my date on the pics that i took wif my camera? i can see the option but i cannot select it. I think it onli appear when i choose the postcard option.

I think date stamping is only available for postcard option.
For others, you may have to use photoshop or other software to imprint the dates. Hope that helps.

Thanks. By the way, anyone here using tripod for ixus 40 ah? can recommend what type that i should buy? coz it would looks funny when my camera is small but is has a big tripod... hehe. I need a compact, nice looking and casual usage tripod.

Im currently looking for a SD card also and have been told that the ixus 40 does not require a fast speed SD card by a few friends so a bit confused and hope that your test can help clear my doubts.

I owned a Ixus 40 and I also use a normal SD Kingston 512Mb card. It only records 20secs. I bought a Kingmax Plantinum SD card and it records till it's full. Thus, u would need a high speed card but not necessary to go for the best

what is the size of your kingmax platinum card? how much you bought it?

hi! I'm sorry I've been too busy to check into clubsnap. I tested with my normal kingston SD card. At 30fps, size 640, it records for 46sec on an empty SD card.

btw, *I'm trying my luck here* :angel: Would anyone be so kind as to lend me a canon ixus 40 spare battery for 1 month? I'm going on a budget trip overseas, and would not require a spare battery otherwise, so no point buying... :lovegrin:

tink very hard to borrow leh...jus buy 1 spare 3rd party batt ba...less than $30 if I nt wrong...good luck in ur batt finding...
