1 set of 4x Sanyo 2500mah on 580EX enough to last you 200+ shots. Bring few more sets if it's a long event

Think you can scout around peninsula plaza. Thought I ever saw it there.

Just be careful of burning out the flash when you are bursting at high power, esp full power. Bursted at full power and it gave up. When fixing it up they wrote something like temperature fuse.

So that's why now got 2 backup flashes. ;p Believe some other guys also do this. So batt pack too big also like that.....limited lar. Unless that event is paying you well into the 4-digits, i prefer to save my flash and the trouble. ;p

can last me the whole day
no need to change batt, recharging only started to slow down at the end of the night when the banquet guests start to leave and the couple shaking their hands.
to save time, i normally just swap the flash with weak batts with my spare flash already loaded with fresh batts.

using 2 550ex and canon ext batt pack, mixture of 2300 and 2500 sanyo AA
