B&H also have gray set and they themselves provide the 1 year warranty. Canon's lenses and flash guns do carry international warranty.

Must go down to the customs dep in the singpost hq to pay. Sometimes Singpost will pay for you first if invoice is attached then you need to go down to post office to pay them back before getting your parcel.

Today I had a horrible experience with BH.
I sent my order on last thursday and my order was confirmed on Sunday (Ok tat is fine)
But on Monday BH verification dept sent me an email for credit card verification by sending them a copy of my credit card.
I tot why so, if they are afraid of fraud, then by sending the photo does not help if I stole the card.
Anyway i sent them today the scan copy with 300dpi resolution which I can read every details
But they said the card is too black and need to send a clearer copy
What the hack, the card is dark and the wording is white???!!!
I cancelled my order
This is my first and the last time with BH.........

I got my gitzo 1541T tripod from B&H.
Service was good and fast.
Oversea packaging was well packed and protected.
No worries to purchasing from them again.

The credit card verification is a standard practice for a lot US retailers if you are a first time customers.
You might want to try Adorama.com. I got great service from them. Ordered on Thurs night. Received en email on Friday morning to verify credit card. Sent details and actually rang their account department to verify credit card. Item shipped on Friday. Arrived in NZ (half way across the world) on Tues. That is what I call fast, efficient and friendly service. Great price too.

hmm i ordered a rare lens (at least in sg) last week. and its supposed to get delivered today(in califonia, got a dude to hand carry it back for me)
it cost the same as SG price (or at least what John3:16 quoted me)
sigma 24f1.8 for 449usd -> 625sgd
free shipping to california.
free hand carry by friend.
john 3:16 quoted me sdg600 IF they had the lens, but nope they don't think they can get their hands on it.
mscolor quoted me a order price (they seems to be able to get it) of 725sgd which is the same as b&H (including shipping and GST)
all other shops: don't carry and won't carry.
hmm.. will my friend be charged tax for that? lets assume he packed everything into his large luggage and checks everything in. and also assume he's bringing other stuff back.

always buy from bh, quick and reliable. never faced any verification stuff even on my first time.
and i've just checked, some of the lens + shipping + gst is a few 100 off. from the price in sg. very tempting.
@IsenGrim:depends whether ICA wants to open your friends luggage for a check, even then they might not refer u to customs to pay tax. then again depends, they might not even bother to check.
