I too have problems with Sanyo rechargeable battery, refuse to charge up, and those that charge up discharge very fast, first the problem was the newly bought 2500, then same problem on the 2 years old 2100, and now even 2300, I have confirmed ALL my Sanyo battery got problem and unuseable anymore.
Now I do not trust Sanyo battery, as my work require very reliable battery power source.
I think Energizer NiMH 2500mAh is also by Sanyo? They behave identically! I charge them with the same charger and after keeping them for a few days, they discharge to the same voltage as the Sanyo 2500mAh ones.

Hi all,

I would suggest to try another Charger.

I have two charger 1 is GP & 2nd one is Sanyo. Well the GP one simply will charge with any type of re-chargable batteries. However, Sanyo one will not charge the GP and Konnov one. Even Sanyo Charger with Sanyo Batteries, suspect the charge for Sanyo batteries is not that lasting after charge (gup feel only, never really verify it).

So don't throw away those fauty batteries till you try on another charger, suspect sanyo charge got build in Ai circuit

2 sets of 03-12-UI.

I just charged 1 set last friday, today when i check, 3 batteries show 1.32V, the other shows 1.23V. but strangely they just can't last pass 1 roll of film.

Do they open after office hours or on sat? or how to exchange if they dun work non-office hour

I sent my 2100s to Sanyo to check, they say that there is nothing they can do because the batteries were end of life, which is kinda short cos I seldom use them. The batteries were about 1 year old.

Well, from now onwards, no more Sanyo. Started buying Konnoc, and might want to give Fujifilm a try too.

I have problems with my Sanyo 2300mAh batteries though I am not a heavy user. When I insert this particilar set into the charger, the blinking error light comes on. I have to re-plus or change the positions of the batteries. Tried other batteries on the same charger and it works ok.;(

I believe a few other brands including Sony are manufactured by Sanyo. Anyone know of other brand-labelled Sanyo's so that we don't end up with the same crab again?

It is probably the Sanyo batteries. No more Sanyo batteries. :(

No more sanyo batteries for me, I'm back to GP.
