i was wondering about OP. this price stated here is Non Grey or Grey item pricing ?
It's with local SG warranty, xtra 3 months (total 15 months) if register online.
hmmmm.... i guess i will have to make my decisions fast then. ask my singapore friend to help me buy first. $1850 seems like a good buy. about the same price here.

I brought my friend to Funan on Sunday and was quoted $1850 by various shops in Funan (John,Bally and AP). Went for coffee and decided to go to the basement for a walk and saw the 40D be sold there. Asked for price and I mention that my friend will be paying by cash, they quoted me $1849. My friend immediately made his decision there and then.

Actually the freebies are not really FREE per se, they are bundled accessories. if u get them seperately, you will end up paying about $20 more. but if the items are exactly what you need/want, then why not save the hassle and just get it from them directly. if i'm not wrong, they can actually customise the bundle for you.

personally, i would prefer freebies like memory cards and batteries. I rather buy my own bag with the design i like and get the tripod that i need. =)

I got quoted RMB10700 (SGD2150) with original EOS backpack + China warranty for the EOS40D Kit inc 17-85mm lens from both Beijing Wu Ke Song today n Shanghai Xing Guang yesterday. Cheap siah.. too bad warranty not valid in SG.. but those who buy from HK also the same? No warranty?

@ least insist on HK or CN warranty.. the product should authentic Canon product , not cheong one..
