Price of D80

Hi all
i was thinking of getting a D50 but was persuaded to get a used D70s instead "aiyah top up few hundreds more get a better cam" speech came out from friends .

So decided to search ard here for a used D70s .. prices ard 1.3 - 1.5k (used) ... after seeing this . The "few hundreds more" is quite alot actually .

Since i m getting the D70s ... might as well wait till the D80 is out and the price of D70s drops(hopefully) so i can get it brand new or even cheaper then current market price for a used one ?

Then "aiyah top up few hundreds more get a better cam" and get the D80 speech came i again ... alamak ... how ah ? :embrass:

D70s can be had for lesser than S$1.3k used nowadays. many are selling in order to upgrade to the coming D80.

the price of the D80 can be found in the Nikon forum. there's rough gauge and it has been mentioned. do a search.

Dunno whether its a smart move to buy a 2nd hand D70s now, cuz may have diffculties selling them after a few months when ppl start selling their D80 :think:

Same scenario wif 300D.. Hardly see anyone rushing to bid 2nd 300D liao.

If the price is low enough there will definitely be a buyer That being said though the price of a d70s will likely drop. It would be more wise therefore to get a second hand d70 now, because the price will drop less considering it's much cheaper than a d70s.
