I just went to lucky plaza to a couple of shops and found their prices are cheaper than all these ms, cp, etc.

canon 40d- $1350 body (havent bargain)
450d- i think he quoted me $800+ bcos wif 18-55 kit about $1k.
i was planning to buy from those ms,cp,alan, etc becos of all the reviews, but surprisingly lucky plaza cheaper than them- and they said the sets are not grey sets. sales person quite ok, not sleazy nor pushy ones.
but i prefer to pay by 0 percent instalment, not sure if some bros can recommend some shop selling similar prices wif 0% instalment. Would appreciate some inputs. many tks

bro, i thinking of getting one with credit installment plan. I would suggest wait for Sitex and compare the prices and free gift.

i would still strongly recommand buying from the recommanded shops listed, just don't come back here and ranting that you got conned.

Why wait for SITEX, you can get it at Audio house at 0 installment plan. Their freebies is as good as what SITEX could offer.

I don't think SITEX price will be lower than $1988... SITEX, PC SHOW or COMEX follows the standard retail price, what matters is only the freebies.

which battery is that? its not from nikon, its 4900mAh. i read from the previous threads. the ori price is around SGD32. If you guys want to buy things from Song brothers, always go to the upstairs one ( its cheaper) . At first that fella wanted to sell me the batt at SGD 69, i rejected, then at last he gave me SGD40. anyway, i bought it by cash and it comes with the filter as well. fliter he said its sgd20.

Be cautious when buying cheap D90. I've heard that some shops are trying to dispose those returned body containing too much hot pixels. One or two hot pixels during long exposures is fine, Anything more than that should be mapped out at NIKON service centers.
Yup. The stickied price guide in the Nikon sub forum isn't there for nothing.. You can look around all kinds of shop but the usual listed shop in that thread is always recommended. Of course, price will fluctuate in the range of a few dollars to even $50 between these and you will not find rock bottom prices. Afterall, they are in a business and they have rent to pay, but they have mostly been trust worthy. Still, newbies need to do homework and understand sometimes they will quote RRP unless you have an equote or have been a regular enough to understand the operations of the shop..
