I got mine also at $1680 yesterday. Quite a lot of freebies... Tripod... Camera bag... Laptop bag... 4gb SD with card reader... and and and Nikon UMBRELLA haha...

I think .. you better get the kit D90 at $1650 and buy your own Accessories !

Yeah I bought mine at 1680 too, with lowepro laptop bag, 4gb card+reader, camera bag (ran out of nikon so he gave me a canon bag!), tripod and umbrella~

I think we bought from the same person!

Btw, why is the D90 set a HK set? Is that normal?

MSColor quoted $1650 today incl GST but must pay cash. BTW, they do not have stock and this price only incl 4GB card and reader. He claimed that this is the standard kit freebie and only the more expensive shops (eg. HN, BD) bundle in bags, tripod, umbrella, etc because they charge higher price.

I wonder how true is this ? Any comments ?

Buy the bundle if you need the freebies.. getting it separate will cost more.
But for others who have all the stuff, and don't need unnecessary items will want the bare-bone packaging without all the GWP.. So don't bother over analyzing the value of the GWPs cos it can vary..
