Just got my D90 today. Woo hoo!

I pay total $1780 for a Nikon d90 body, Lowepro Inverse 100 aw, SanDisk Extreme 3 (30mb edition) 8gb, MB-D80 and Nikon EN-EL3e. Not sure is it expensive anot.

Sorry just to clarify, u paid only $1780 for all those things above or just the camera itself? Nikon original MD-D80 and EN-EL3e?

If yes it is really good good good price....

1988 is advertised price. You should be able to get the kit at around 1650-1750 range in the more popular stores.

All the same la.

There are some reports of camera bodies' contacts need to be warmed up by mounting and dismounting the lens a couple of times. The contacts are a little sensitive. Personally I did not have this problem.

I'd asked Cathay Photos about 3 weeks ago and got a $1380 quote for D90 kit. Not sure if I'd heard wrongly or something... Anyone able to confirm?

Serious? For kit? So far, the best deal I've been quoted is 1627 w/GST, inclusive of 8gb, cleaning kit and LowePro bag, and that's quoted today.

Maybe yours is for D90 body only, that would have been more logical. Tell me when you get the same quote again if you ever ask Cathay Photo, cos I would definitely get that if D90 kit is 1380, even without GST.

That's why I don't believe. But anyway, the woman said it's for kit but no free stuff.
