Price for Canon EF 28-135 IS USM (brand new)

Hi All,

As above, do you have any idea how much would be the cost of that stuff?

I have a friend who is currently in oversea and planning to buy that lens.

He'll be here in 2 days time for an urgent visit.

Could anyone help me find out the cost of it...and where?

I already sent an eqoute to cathay photo but seems like i have to wait for a few days before i get their reply.

I would really appreciate your effort if you could respond to this thread asap.

i just called AP and Cathay Photo, they qouted me the below price

AP = $ 950 (no stock on hand, order basis)

CP = $950 ( stock avail)

AP tend to quote prices excluding GST. Well, that's what I get when I ask them for quotes. So, do bear in mind asking AP further whether the prices include GST.

Nope, I've never seen this lens at 700-800. Last year i got equote for this lens at $880 w/o GST.

since your friend is from overseas, he should consider buying from the US. bhphoto price for USA warranty set is US$399.95 which is about $710.
