I was just gonna go 'Whoa!' until I read the rest of the sentence :bsmilie:. Anyway, how much did you get it for as I am looking for this camera soon and just in case John or CP no stock.
couldn't resist and got mine today for $670 at TK. ;p
and for the hell of it, i decided to compare this with my ancient G7 (also 10MP, albeit way older tech), at 35mm @ f8. all shot on my tripod at Manual, normal colour saturation at small-size file setting. these are all straight from the camera.
G7 vs S90 @ iso100 (not much of a diff)

IMO, the s90 is usable up to ISO800. anything more than dat is a matter of "die die must get the shot" situation for me. really a leap in image quality for me. can't wait for the battery to fully charge so that i can take it out for a spin...

hi, i think at iso100 S90 already got some improvement over the G7... can u pls share the shuttle lag and focus lock timings... thks so much in advance...

Also as suggested by previous posts in previous page remember to keep track to the battery life as it is relatively short.
shutter lag? eh.. i dun time it. its snappy enuf for me, as expected of a PnS. i was using center-AF.
someone in the canon R&D dept has been watching too many transformer movies... :sweatsm:
anyway, here's something i tried just now.
flare test (a little flaring, not as bad as i think it would. obvious CA present. click on pic to see original):
s90 @ f2 (not too bad bokeh, for a PnS. forget abt getting those creamy bokehs from DSLR lenses, and you will be quite happy.... :sweat: click on pic to see original)

thks for the reply.... u meant to say both the shuttler lag and focus speed is snappy enough... i ordered mine... dnt knw when will come... lol...
where is this shop slr revo to get the 6 buck battery located huh... 10s...
is class 4 card good enough in the manual.. 10s too...

SLR Revo is just opposite JO3:16
IMO, Class 4 is good enough, since if you record movie, also just normal movie.

Not at all. There is an inner liner along the zip so the camera will never touch the zip.
