Hi all,
Yesterday i was using my S3 to take pic on my newborn but it appear to be blur or loss of detail shown on my LCD and viewfinder. I use micro shot mode but still the same.
...........
oic.. Cause I wan a closeup photo shot on my baby...
Even at Protriat mode it still the same....
So is the light insufficient cause the blurness cos at hospital the room is quite dim plus i not using my flash and AF lighting....
hehe I haven't bought my own drybox... then again, I switch on air-con every night
Is it okay if I just wipe the lens with spectacle cloth? I accidentally touched it........:embrass:
S3IS is not very good with focussing at low lighting. If you half press the shutter button n it keeps "hunting" without being able to lock on focus and give you the green box in the middle to show it is focussed, you probably need to at least allow the AF assist lamp to come on. Even if the green box comes on, you may want to check if the picture looks clear in the LCD screen as it may have focussed wrongly. If you can, try to allow a little more light into the room. It may help.

Another problem...
When I choose either Aperture or Shutter Priority, the auto choosing of others side for both is quite bad....
Can always see "red camera" flashing on bottom left corner....
when "camera" icon stop flashing, result is not ideal...![]()
anyone encounter that?
Did you try pushing up your ISO? "red cam" means lighting not good...
