Reverse mount is something else. You can look at tchuanye's equipment list here.

Its basicly reversing a lens, so that the front element connects to your camera. I have tried it before, the DOF is really too thin to work with if you combine it with the S2/3's 400mm lens. It is fine for anything under 200mm though. Most people use 50mm primes for this, since they are cheap and alot of them have apeture rings. This way, you can control it even though it is not connected to anything.

You need to get a reverse ring or macro coupler to reverse mount. These have male threads on both sides so you can screw on the 2nd lens. You will need to get a ring with either 58mm or 52 mm on one side (depends on which S2/S3 adapter you have) AND a thread size that matches the filter threads of the lens you are reverse mounting.

hi all.. need some help here.. my bf owns an S3. i wan to buy him some lens/filters for christmas. i heard him mention something about lensbaby, fisheye and macro lens.

can you all recommend me some places where i can get such lens? and what is the price like for each of the lens?

Lensbaby will not work with the S3IS.

You need to get an adapter for the lens first. Both Lensmate and Raynox sell them, price is almost the same. I prefer the finish of the Lensmate. Also, Lensmate has both 58 & 52 mm versions.

For filters, get a UV filter, to protect the lens. You may also want to get a polariser.

Macro & fisheye, quite a lot of options out there. How much are you willing to spend? $300 for the Raynox macro set? :devil:

You can get the Raynox DCR250 macro for about $110 now.

No idea about fisheye.

He is using the 52mm adapter? Which brand?

I think the CPL is a polariser, not a UV filter.

hi, appealing to S3IS users for help... i hv my hol pics in a 2GB SD Kingston card. it says memory full when i try to take pic, but when i switch to the view image mode on my S3IS, it says no images! my heart break liao!!! all my hol pics!!! can anyone plse plse plse tell me how i can retrieve them? i bought the card fr Alan Photo. will they be able to help me retrieve them or where shld i go? copmputer shop? can recommend? help!!!

When you use the SD card reader, what is the free & empty space on the card? If you do not see any files, but it says 2GB space used, the files are still on the SD card. You then need to use some data recovery software to get back the files.
