I have just calculated the storage size of the video file. At best setting, 1Gb can capture about 8.6mins only!!

tks said:Just to share my experience, since I have been using the S1 to capture all my holiday videos since a few years back.
I always use VGA at 15 fps and not the highest 30 fps setting. It is good enough. And I use a 2GB card with another 1GB card as spare. That gives me about 18 mins of video per 1GB. More than enough. We normally shoot short clips of 30 secs to at most 2 mins. Delete those that you do not want. At the end of the day, download to notebook.

same heretks said:I always take out the card and use the card reader, previously external but now built-in notebook. No problems at all. I think it is faster and more efficient. I recall that when I last tried to upload the pictures via the camera, some of the file properties were changed. I did not like it. Not sure if it is still like this.
