1 gb can take bout 450 plus of 9mp normal. nv try fine b4. was deleting some totally off shots so dat can haf some space to shoot. thats makes up the 500 over.
yes, i'm using external flash. so batt last quite well.

well should make urs of ur ext flash. would improve ur pics a lot if the flash can reach

the mantis is kept in a glass tank. the white spots is caused by the glass panel dirt strain.

i think part of digital photog is to learning how to pp. wlel thats just my opinion.
there was once i didnt like pp too...

accidental shot, didnt intend to shoot that cay cos i am not aware of the programme list. so didnt bring my D70s. well, S5000 is gd enuff for most of the shots except the fashion show.

the bird park series is nice, esp the last bird.

yeah it is very difficult to shoot fast moving objects with the s9500, the continuous focusing is quite lousy. I tried shooting the flying birds during the bird show, most come out oof. ...or maybe I also lousy...

consider good that u r able to capture this shot. yr shutter at 1/100-1/200? the continuous focusing tends to be slower in a prosumer as compare to a DSLR. even with a DSLR, u need a fast lens to capture sharp moving objects. 2 different worlds.

imo, prosumers are more suitable for street and candid, still life etc. basically anything that does not requires a quick AF. take for example my recent thai exhibition pics. i didnt manage to take any of the fashion show shots because S5000 AF is slow. by the time the cam focus, the model has walked away. hence, i use the cam to take the slower pace thai dance and the rock performance. i am quite satisfied with the pics.

nope, was using 1/500 shutter hahaha. yes i realised the continuous focusing is something tat really cant compare to DSLR.
