Possible WTT: Canon 17-40L for (Sigma 15-30+topup)

I am currently using the Canon 17-40L but am looking for something slightly wider. Does anyone have a 15-30 Sigma that I can test out for a day or so (I will use my 17-40 as a deposit) - and if I'm satisfied with the results I'm getting, the person loaning me the 15-30 will have first dibs at the trade.

How old and what is the condition of the 17-40L? I have a year old Sigma 15-30mm I think is too wide for my use. I've only used it a few times, otherwise its been in a dry box.
