using the 50mm f1.4, i shoot wide open almost all the time cos i just love the bokeh that comes with it.
But of course, yes, here are miscue if you're subject isn't stationary or when dealing with really low light situations.
Also, 50mm isn't good for closeup headshots, and this is where.....
