when i 1st saw this pic, i thought that you caught Portia's facial expression at the right time.
It's shots like this that gives me good vibes and that is more effective than having a sharp, well-exposed shot....:thumbsup: for technicalities but :thumbsd: on the 'soul' of the pic itself.

Yes, it could be better but who cares.....I like this pic!

If you've been to Johnny's photo website, you ca actually find some good photos there, especially those that he took off the streets of Shanghai.

What I feel about his posting here, and it's my own personal opinion, is that he posted not for critic, but seems to be out to spite an individual or a group of indivduals here.

This just an honest personal opinion here la.

To be fair, I think both party need to monitor their on-line behaviour. For TS, replying like this is certainly not a good away to answer to your critics. And watch the language you are using there!

There is nothing worse than a sharp image of a fuzzy concept.

this image may not be focused, but it's certainly a moment well-captured.

as for the behaviour of the threadstarter against DP, it is definitely uncalled for.

The whole pic is slightly blurred but not the eyes. Eyes are windows to the soul. Hence it does not affect the wholesomeness of the image. Some may find that this image is more natural with the slight blurness.

Some pp like super sharp photos which I finds it a bit unnatural but i strongly believe it is due to preference.

For the TS, i find your image is a very bad image. Eyes blurred with everything not in focus. God gave man hands but u chopped it off. Attitude is even worse. Critique not accepted when DP is so mild in his comments. At least he is bothered to spend his time to comment on your image. If u dun like him, consider the time he spend to browse your image.

As for pp who claim to be able to find the image nice with the blurness, think again whether your comment has any help to TS's appreciation of a good image. I know some blurred image is nice but with the eyes blurred?????????

The only thing nice in this image is the expression. Just my frank opinion of the matter.

If your prints are correct, shdn't be an issue. But it also look burnt in my office's mac also
