Yes .. 8360 is a better choice than the 5500 and personally, it is value for money and moreover can upgrade the harddisk to higher capacity by buying any standard harddisk in the market. Best is that the hardware tool to remove the casing comes with the unit.
Fyi, I "zap" dvd movies into this unit to watch when flying budget airlines like Tiger n Jetstart.![]()
i thought 5500 also can upgrade hdd? i also having a thought of viewing shows in this unit but my show mostly is in rmvb format... hai...
Does anyone know how much is zen vision w selling?
$399 is for a complete unit with 120Gb harddisk installed.![]()
nope ask yesterday. without H/D. add $90 for 120gb . total is $489.
get the Espon model, it is more stable and the display is far much better.

I use the Digimate III and i damn regret...
Slow transfer speed, battery doesnt last and if you cant get it format to FAT 32, you cant use it.
It took me 12 months before i figure out...
Oh, btw, when you plunge into your notebook using USB, you need to use direct current or its not recognised by yr notebook/ desktop...
Hope this helps.
Hi,
so VP 8390 120gb is at $399 only? I'm using D80, anyone noes if it can read/view D80's raw format?
I dunno if can but why not output to RAW + JPG? space is not an issue if u shootg in raw already. the jpg is useful for preview on unsupported hardware plus in case the jpg is good enough u can del the raw
by the way, where did you get this from for $399 with 120gb harddisk? Chiong there yesterday evening, $399 is without the harddisk as told by two sales staff. Harddisk add another $90.
Thanks for the reminder! haha forgot about that..
Viewsonic has a better feature set, but Epson has a better resolution - what to do!!?
