Poll: Pick your color for the new OM-D EM-5! Black or Silver?

I suspect that the EM5 is the first in the series of OMD cameras that will all use the HLD-6... So I want the grip for flexibility. For example, serious shooting with my 75-300, it will seriously improve ergonomics.

Hmmz... Wonder if I will need the grip for 45-200mm shooting.

Then again, I'll be using the tele very rarely.

Borderlinx or vpost? I used to be a super amazon prime buyer when I was in the US. Now that I'm in SG, it seems so complicated. Did you have to pay tax?

I am not sure anymore. The texture of the black one's grip is ugly but it might look better with the HLD-6... :think:

Not really... (to me), the more I look at it, the more I think the silver looks pretty good with the grip too.

Too bad I've given up the thought after actually handling the Gariz Special Edition half case and fell in love with it.

i just noticed from my Silver OMD, there is something missing.

OMD-EM5 does not have the 'micro' logo which present in all olympus m43 camera.

it happen to the whole batch of OMD-EM5, not a big issue, but just curious why olympus miss our this trademark logo from olympus m43.

i saw that too, but strange this time, olympus decide to put it at the back instead of front.
maybe for the retro look.

Other that OLYMPUS and OM-D, even E-M5 is on the top.

It's a very clean look instead of in-your-face advertising or wordings around the front of the silver body telling you 5-AXIS IBIS or OLYMPUS OM-D E-M5 MICRO FOUR THIRD SUPER RETRO INTERCHANGEABLE SYSTEM DELUX.

you got the point. infact i like the design very much too.
This batch of engineers who design OMD-EM5 are brilliant. Good job.

I dun think there is space in front for any logos. It will spoil the Retro look too.

I think the black's skin texture spoils the retro look ... I like black metal, but need to find someone making OM-D skin to put over the original skin.
