Hei I found some discussion about Fuji FP100C that can be used on a 600 with adapter(http://www.flickr.com/groups/polaroid_/discuss/72157594159933222/page2/). I haven't read the content totally and pray that it might be a alternative to the 600 films. In the meantime I am carefully using every exposure of my 600 films that I got from Punklite. If there is someone with news about the adapter please post here as well.

Btw some of the discussion in the page I do not understand it well as I have quite poor backgound knowledge of polaroid films. So I need someone to summerise the discussion conculsion out please.

Wootsk, they are referring to a different type of camera that uses peel apart films, not the usual 600 camera.

What I mean is this, taken from the page "Newton Plastics used to make an adapter that allowed a 545 sheet-film back to be used on the 600 SE. However, the edges are likely to show vignetting." Another page i mean is this http://www.flickr.com/groups/polaroid_/discuss/72157603906450061 , this discussion page is about fuji films transfer to polaroid. Bro I know it is not your fault or anything, but 30+ for 10 exposure is really painful. Thought I will still get it if I need it but really painful...

wootsk... to go thru all that trouble just to use a Polaroid cam, why not just get Fuji Instax?

Not sure about you, but I personally use Polaroid 600 film becos of the colour. Instax or FP-100C gives you a vibrant colour almost like printer printed, there is no fun to it... Haha.

Ya, but I just wanna try out other possibilty and see how it turns out. I still like polaroid colour too. But just maybe I can just keep a few 600 for special events while I use my cam with the fuji to reduce the pain in my wallet. :D

I am still a lowly pain employee with tax and bill to pay in the rat race world.

hey, pardon for my not understanding =)

im new to polaroid and just bought a cool cam not long ago.
it would be a waste for not able to use it =)

does it means that i could use Fujifilm FP 100C to replace my polaroid 600 film?
have you guys tested out already?

Like what punklite said, the article that wootsk referred to is talking above another Polaroid 600 Camera [a.k.a Non-folding Pack Cameras] - http://www.rwhirled.com/landlist/landdcam-pack.htm#600 which looks like - http://www.mikiane.com/files/polaroid600se s.jpg

With the above, going back to vilin's question, we are unable to use the Fujifilm FP-100C on our normal Polaroid 600 [Integral film camera].

Hope it helps ;)

Thank you together.serena for the explanation. Polaroid 600 camera is very similar to a Mamiya Universal with changeable backing, it can take a few types of films; not just the FP-100C.

People... fret not. I have a heap of Polaroid films stored in a wine chiller for sale and personal use. Message me if interested.

I have 10 packs of 08/09 left... At $37 each. This is all that i have left for sale. need to keep some for personal use.

Selling Sx-70 slr instant cam with filter for 600 use. My personal collection for many years, condition is good. Call me at 8125 6263 to deal.

The FP-100C is used for Polaroid Automatic land cameras, such as the Polaroid 100,101,250, etc. It costs $19/pack of 10shots at Cathay Photo. Better colors and saturation compared to Polaroid 690 film. You cannot use them as a subsitute for Polaroid 600 film.

Just be patient, theimpossibleproject is going to revive the intergral set next year!

Anyways I'm selling off my collection and some other cameras that I don't really use anymore like the Polaroid Automatic land camera that uses packfilm, FP-100C.

You can check them out at http://dinosaurcameras.blogspot.com

I want to get TZ films from http://www.polapremium.com. Anybody want to share the shipping cost with me? 600 films are for sale on that website too. Shipping cost is USD50 (I haven't found out the maximum load). Expensive but it sounds higlhy reliable.

Taken from the website:

Due to the very special setup of making a very limited quantity of selected Polaroid products accessible worldwide, many of them very sensitive to storage conditions, PolaPremium runs a high security warehouse with climate control facilities in Hungary in the heart of Europe. We did our very best to keep your shipping costs within a reasonable range, but decided to only offer traceable premium express services as all our products are highly fragile and should reach you the best and fastest way possible. Thank you for your understanding.

Email me at jrdnzhou@yahoo.com.sg

Thanks!
