Thanks for sharing fengwei. Guess you have a nice trip other than a defective K100D.:) Anyway the pics still looks good to me.

The trip was okay (hope my family was there though), but I felt really bad about the defected K100D. Luckily our master Kevin has fixed it already :bsmilie:

Even stuck at f2.8 it still produced great pictures. Or at least we can't see any serious flaws at this size. :D

I like this one, I think the water feature draws me in.

Thanks. The DA14/2.8 is an amazing lens. Even at F2.8 it show pretty nice details for close or far away target. But of course we shouldn't use the lens wide open for shots like these ...

Hope you had a wonderful time in Malaysia, Feng Wei! Just wandering how did you go into the mosque with a camera snapping away... Thought they won't like it... Seems like the DA14's still pretty sharp even in wide open instances!

Thanks Bernard. I've been to KL several times, and every time I brought camera into those mosques w/o any problem :) Actually this time it's Friday when I was there, I kinda sneaked in from a side door 'cause it's their worship day. Eventually I was caught by a nice lady who asked me if I was a muslim. Couldn't lie to her, so I had to leave after a short tour :)

Great pictures fengwei. KL is definitely one of the most scenic cities to shoot.

Thanks Denis :) Yes, the twin towers are very nice subjects to shoot at. I was lucky it's a sunny day on the last day when I was there.

:D ... you got the 21mm afterall! How do you like it? Really walkaround lens right!?

Hey, I don't even recall this looks like the Latio.. Is this the front?

Your composition of still-life (not sure if that's the word for it) never fails to amaze me.. Supposedly mundane items can just be brought to life... reminds me of zen photographs ...

Nice shot creampuff. I'm sure you will like the versatility of the DA21.;)

Took this a few days back. Was on my way home when it looked like it was going to rain.

A few takes of lightnings at different stages.

fengwei - was in KL at the same time but nvr visited these places. nice shot esp the water feature with the twin tower in the background.

Thanks :) Pity we couldn't meetup there, otherwise we could go to some places together ;)

haha. okay maybe i should have labelled it lightning clouds. my bad. :embrass:

It's a long time 61s exposure, that's why the blurry clouds and star trails :)

And I agree, nice shot indeed.

fwah, 61s is a really long time. can take a few sips of kopi in between shots. :bsmilie:

a pity Singapore's night sky is so well lit, otherwise can capture more stars. love this pic posted by a fellow CSer, redoxsim.
