Chingay .. Pentaxian Outing?
=0)

Possibly going down tmr (for the dressed Rehearsal).. anyone's going as well? Starts at 7.30pm, but we ought to be there much earlier.

Would a DA70mm with Flash be sufficient? The performers could be quite far out, and perhaps my travel lens (a.k.a - DA18-250mm) would do the trick?

I think your DA*1650 would be the best lens for this event :)

Wish I could go too, but got a gathering to attend ...

Good luck.

Agreed with Fengwei, your DA*16-50 is a better choice to use.

Guys, Thanks for the advise. Unfortunately, last minute CNY visits organised by parents.. HAIZ...

Shot with DA40mm ... Those of you who still remember, the old DATSUN 120. Or at least I think it's 120. That time, this was the lightest steering wheel you could find vs the other older cars!

This one's in shambles but still being used by the farmer to get him out to his veg farm...

Hello, I'm newbie here and fairly new to dslr photography although I've been using PNS camera to take reference pictures for my art (I paint watercolours)

Soon, I got hooked with photography after using Olympis C4000 and Panasonic Lumix FZ20. Thanks to my painting buddy and fellow Pentaxian, Tiong78's recommendation, I bought K10D with kit lens and with limited budget, I opted for FAJ 75-300mm zoom lens from CP... that's back in August last year. Here are some of my photos...

U're right. I tested the lens @ Ms and went home to do some pixel peeping on my laptop screen, just to confirm what I saw in the shop. Then I went back a few days to purchase it. No regrets. :)

:)

The Ginza at nite is very nice. I am intending to go Japan this June. May I noe wat tripod u bought along? I am wondering if my Manfrotto 055 is too heavy to be lugged around. thanks.

Was passing by Botanical Gardens, and thought may as well use my DA70mm ... As I was walking down the pond, and found the lights on this colored leaved shrub. Thought it looks really and captured it with the DA70mm. What was really a morning for flower portraiture ended with LEAVES...

I really like the bokeh it produces.. and of course, not to mention the sharpness. Again, another wonderfully constructed (and compact as well), and sharp lens by Pentax's primes!

Makes me wonder what if it's a limited MACRO! :bsmilie:
