Looks there are some interesting stuff shown there right now, and the DA40 lens is just perfect for such subjects I'd say. Nice clean photos, especially consider they were shot at ISO1600 :thumbsup:

Seems pretty quiet here, hope you guys still enjoy taking photos with your Pentax gear 
Here I'm sharing several more street shots I took when testing the borrowed FA*28-70/2.8 lens (and my own copy will be here in one weel)
#1 - can't tell if he's buying or selling (taken from the Thief Market at Little India)
#2 - still cares about what's going on even when selling old junks everyday (taken from the Thief Market at Little India)
#3 - an abandoned bike which still gets used even without wheels (taken by a street near the Thief Market at Little India)

There was a Chinese Snuff Bottles exhibition on there last week when I took these pics. Unfortunately, those bottles are behind dirty glass and bad lit. None of my pics came out well.
Yes, the DA40 is quite good for those low light conditions in the ACM. My sigma 70-300 simply gave up with it's max aperture of f/4. :bsmilie: Most of the photos have moderate to heavy shadow noise, but resizing down to web sizes makes it reasonably unnoticeable.
But I feel they could drastically improve the lighting without spoiling the 'atmosphere' at ACM. As it stands, it is very difficult to take decent photos inside without a flash due to the poor lighting and horrible shadows.
On the positive side, it's a great place for learning to photograph in low light, difficult conditions :sweat:Great photos BTW. I especially love the broken bicycle shot. The FA* 28-70 looks like a great lens for street photos. How much damage in $$$?

If you dont mind my saying so, you could probably adjust the WB and bump up the saturation a bit. Great action photo nonetheless.
Thanks, skypacker. I did, but I no good in PP. I have adjusted in C1 LE & Paint 8, its fine and sharp on my monitor, but the photos look different when I uploaded to the net, even can't get the correct file size after PP for the upload. Still learning....

thanks fengwei, its a beautiful lens and I really like it A LOT.
I think I had used it for a few shots on a Saturday gig but the lighting at Esplanade Makansutra stage was as usual... horrible ;( I hope to get some usable ones. No time to sift thro the photos yet.
