Bro.... since I have nothing to do in my office, I tweaked your Kusu island images a bit so they look so gray.

BTW, these images has got that classic Kodachrome look.

Nice effect, using Photomatix?

That's beautiful! How did you process it? very nice.

Thanks.

Using an open source software, qtpfsgui (http://qtpfsgui.sourceforge.net/) to do the hdr processing from a single raw. Don't know how this compared to other hdr software coz never use others.

Here is the original jpeg from raw+ shot, un-processed

Beautiful sunset that day, I shot quite a few at the bottle tree park. Will post some later to share.

gchiam - you got dust! top left corner

interesting pp, but i do prefer more natural looking hdrs (without haloes and slightly off colours), but i suppose it's artistic license

Yeah, noticed that too. ;p

I also wanted to do produce more natural hdrs but still unsuccessful to get a satisfied result with the software.

hrm, maybe i'll download it later and play around
not sure if it's similar to photomatix
but undoubtedly photomatix can obtain that sort of result

does it have luminosity control?

anyhow, k100d with kit

Attempts at panning under low light conditions from a few days ago.

Q: Does leaving SR on help or harm panning shots? IIRC, I left it on the whole time; at the time it did not occur to me to turn it off.

skypacker, nice set of photos, especially the first and last. I think with SR on you'll likely get more keepers, though I think it really depends on how you want the shot done (stop motion vs slight panning blur to convey the motion).
