Still chasing butterflies with longko's lens. Longko I think I'd probably get it already.. Quite good enough for my purposes.. =D

Ya, you are doing a great job with it. It's always good to see a lens well used instead of sleeping in the dry cabi:bsmilie:

BTW you bought which flash?

Still using built-in..

Going down to SLS to check out your recommendation later.. =D

Sorry, wrote wrongly. Should be 2nd photo looks foggy. Whats the secrets in taking great photo shots ? Underexpose ? Small aperture ? Any advice ?

Well, under that kind of weather and light condition, it's not easy to take good ones, unless the subjects are more interesting ones I guess ;)

I can see you've been having some macro fun w/ the Sigma 70300 already. Maybe you can step up and get a dedicated macro lens straight away :D

Nice shot btw.

I really hate those who hang their mops outside like that. Sometimes we have to clean the clothes again due to this :(

Hehe, I think I'll stick to the 70-300 though.. Like the range, mmm. 180mm macro is out of my budget for a long long time until I finish school. =D

Thanks! =)

Honestly, regradless of which lens you use, you make full use of it:thumbsup: I really respect people like you, making full use of what you have;) BTW one day when you free can teach me on butterfly photography liao:bsmilie: I'd always been bad with wild butterflies:embrass:

Hahaha, I have no choice.. If I had more money I'd probably go bananas and buy all the wide lens in the world. :bsmilie:

Haha, I'm still a noob at taking butterflies la.. The ones I've been taking are the really easy ones - i.e. the lazy ones. The faster and more active ones like some (Common Birdwing, etc) caught in the Sharing Butterflies thread are really a pain in the ass, still haven't gotten any like that yet.. But I can share what little I know I guess.. =D

I'm glad I've been shown a lot of kindness by many Singaporeans in this aspect of my life - photography anyways. Must not forget people like you who make the whole photographic experience so much more heartwarming and fun. =)

That's an interesting shot. Looks a very nice place for sunrise or sunset photos

This place is called Telok Kumbar, famous for it's Prawn Noodle and unfortunately not for either sunrise or sunset. That's why the photo is in B&W.

I went to this place by Taxi from town, took photos until after sunset, then waited for taxi/bus for more than an hour....until I took a lift from someone
That's Penang, If you don't drive, better dont go anywhere.

Here is one more, with kit lens only.

Okay, thanks for sharing that. Wanted to go there several years back, but didn't manage to find the time. Now w/ the two little kids around, don't think I'd be able to visit there anytime soon :(

Another nice photo btw.
