Wow! Those are really beautiful :thumbsup: Who says kit lens is just a so so one? It can produce great photos in right hands :)

Nice shots. So you got one of these gem lenses too ;p I also tested one today, not mine though. Very good lens I'd say.
Yes I decided to get the Voigtländer for 2 reasons; didn't manage to get the Pentax-A* 135 f1.8 that my overseas friend was supposed to secure and because it reminded me of the Nikon Micro-Nikkor 200mm f4 that I used to use on 35mm film.

Anyway this lens really oozes class. Solid heavy metal and glass. Just blown away by the quality of the shots. Absolutely no colour fringing and sharp, contrasty images from max aperture onwards. Here's a handheld closeup of the horse's eye and the 100% crop of the fly. Amazing!

Yes, it is indeed a very solid lens, very well built w/ great optical quality.

Thanks. The VL125/2.5 is a wonderful macro lens. I might just get one of those someday for myself :)
