Maybe these monks want to have a dSLR cam too :D

Keep it but best to use it with a lens-hood because it is very prone to lens flare. :)

Zenten, do you use a lens-hood for this lens? I did wanted to get a lens-hood before for this lens but i don't like those foldable rubber lens-hood.:bsmilie:

It is a decent tele zoom lens. Used to have one, quite liked it too. But I guess you don't need it anymore ;)

Yeah Fengwei, guess so also:bsmilie:

That's a nice capture :) Ozeck 135/2.8, what kind of lens is that?

It's a cheap-skate japanese manual focus K-mount glass with Multi-Coating. Heavy and quite sharp when stop-down, but didn't has the nice color rendering like any SMC glass. Had it many years back to fill my upper focal range and portrait on film.

cheerss..

Seafone is using the Ozeck 135/2.8 not kit lens.

You can see the pentax camera model and the type of lens used for most of the pic posted here.

Cheers

Okay, I guess an M 135/3.5 would be a better alternative then ;)

Cheers!

Great captures! Especially the second one.

I think you are ready for something better than your kit lens now :) You've got the best out of the kit lens, but I do hope we could enjoy some even better photos by a better glass ... Well, you might not need one afterall to make great photos like these ;)

Thanks for sharing.

Popcorn anyone?
