Just back from Hong Kong and have uploaded a series of shots taken with my new Pentax 18-250 lens. I brought along the Sigma 30/1.4 as well but only used for around 10 shots. The rest were purely the 18-250 and man, its a joy to use. So what if the quality is not on par with prime lenses, the zoom range was fully used as I zipped from 18mm to 250mm all day long. Had a minor shock when my kid allowed my K100D to slip off my bag onto the concrete floor resulting in a slight dent to the filter (thank goodness for the ND filter!). The camera refused to power on and I was shell shocked but then realised the memory card cover had sprung open. Snapping it back brought the camera back to life...whew!
