Ha, ha, yeah was shooting while moving about the city visiting my clients, so no tripod. Boosted up ISO to 1600 in order to shoot handheld. But I think the effect of the grain is okay for the outdoor shots... we live and work in a gritty city. :bsmilie:

actually the grain works for ir shots, especially if you desaturate them
quite like the old school ir b&w film effect

eh... i don't think the pictures look bad with the graininess. (i'm referring to the kitty shots only)
in fact.. i kinda like the texture..

The pictures are grainy because I shot in jpeg. Had I shot in RAW, it wouldn't have been much less grainy. Would you believe it if I told you the cat is actually ginger brown and white? The brown patches now take on a different hue in IR.
